Nexus Travel was incorporated on April 7, 1993. It obtained IATA accreditation on April 20, 2001, and Department of Tourism (DOT) accreditation on October 24, 2005. In 2006, It successfully complied with the requirements for accredited supplier of the University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman.

Nexus is accredited as a ticketing agent of IATA and Philippine Air lines (PAL). It is also accredited with the following government agencies: Department of Tourism (DOT), Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Bureau of Immigration and Deportation (BID), and National Statistics Office (NSO).

Nexus is a member of PTAA (Philippine Travel Agencies Association), PHILTOA (PhilippineTour Operators Association), PIATA (Philippine IATA Agencies Association), Philippine Convention & Visitors Corporation (PCVC), QCTAA (Quezon City Travel Agencies Association) and QCTC (Quezon City Tourism Council).
